Hey folks! It’s been a while since I’ve posted some new custom kicks. Too busy customizing, no time for blogging! Anyways, check these out:

This pair of custom Adidas sneakers was commissioned by a loving girlfriend as a gift for her boyfriend. They were created to resemble a Japanese woodcut print, circa the 17th century. On the side of the shoe sits a geisha holding a paintbrush in her hand. She has just finished writing the Japanese characters beside her, which spell out the two sweetheart’s names, along with the character for Love. The trees in the background shed their flower blossoms, which were painted orange to match the recipient’s favorite color. Subtle paint splashes and airbrushing were employed here and there to give the shoe an “aged” look.
Are these customized sneakers for sale? Nope! They were a one-off pair for the lucky guy to enjoy on his birthday.

A short while back, Sole Brother Custom Sneakers held their first Ultimate Sneaker contest. Sneakerheads from all over the world submitted descriptions of their perfect custom sneakers in the hopes of having their ideas turned into reality. In the end, Marc Lee from Malaysia was announced as our winner, and we immediately got to work on creating his one-of-a-kind custom kicks.
Here’s a description of Marc’s Ultimate Sneaker in his own words:
“My ultimate sneaker would be a white Adidas Superstar 2 shoe with:
a deck of normal bicycle card design (Only the royal cards Ace King Queen Jack). all over the shoe with some face down, showing the back of the card. Since the common decks are blue and red, the left shoe can have the red deck (red 3 stripes) and the right shoe can have the blue deck (blue 3 stripes)”
Using this description as our guide, here is what we came up with:

He was so excited about receiving his new personalized shoes, he posted pictures of them on our Facebook Page almost as soon as he got them! Here is an excerpt from an email Marc sent us after receiving his sneakers:
“… I have received the sneakers yesterday afternoon. They are very unique and extremely detailed. You truly are very skillful … I don’t know when i will take [them] for a spin! Too beautiful to get dirty!”
Congratulations Marc on winning the contest! You will definitely stand out from the crowd in these exclusive Adidas shoes!
