These shoes were commissioned by a husband as a gift for his loving wife. They feature her name and initials, along with golden Swooshes and swirling flourishes. These custom made sneakers were painstakingly gilded in genuine 24 karat gold to produce the perfect gift for her birthday. A stylized emblem was created from her initials (R.R.) and gilded in place at the rear of the shoe; her first name was placed on the other side. Golden laces were used to accent the design.

There were a few errors in this article, most notably our customization prices. We average around $475 a pair, depending on the complexity of the design and materials required. Spending over 40 hours customizing one pair is typical, and that doesn’t include any of the design time!
